Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and move the rack to the middle position.
- Remove the sausage from its casing and brown it in a frying pan, breaking it into small crumbles. Drain on paper towels and let it cool.
- In a medium bowl, mix the cream cheese and mayonnaise until well combined. Add the Italian seasoning, crushed fennel seed, and ⅓ of each cheese, stirring to combine.
- Spread the mixture into the bottom of a baking dish.
- Spread ½ cup of the Arrabiata sauce over the cream cheese layer. Sprinkle half of the sausage, onion, green bell pepper, and black olives over the sauce. Layer half of the remaining cheese on top.
- Add the rest of the sauce, the remaining cheese, and top with the remaining sausage and vegetables.
- Bake for 20-30 minutes or until bubbly and hot. Alternatively, cover with cling film and microwave for about 5 minutes, depending on your microwave's power.
- Serve warm.
