Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Brown the sausage, drain, and set aside.
- Chop and sauté the vegetables until softened.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine grated mozzarella and cream cheese, and microwave for 1½ - 2 minutes.
- Stir the melted cheeses together, then add the egg and mix until combined.
- Add almond flour and whey protein powder, blending until the dough is elastic.
- On a parchment-lined sheet pan, pat or roll out the dough evenly, then dock it with a fork.
- Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
- Rub the baked crust with garlic, then spread marinara sauce and top with half the cheese.
- Add the cooked sausage, vegetables, and remaining cheese on top.
- Broil for about 5 minutes until hot and cheese is melted.
