Ingredients

The shrimp

  • 1 lb jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined

The oil

  • 2 tbsp avocado oil

The seasoning

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • ½ tsp thyme
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix the seasoning ingredients in a bowl or jar.
  2. Rinse the shrimp and pat dry, then season with the spice mix.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add avocado oil.
  4. Once the oil is hot, add the shrimp and sear for 1-2 minutes on each side.
  5. Remove the shrimp from heat and serve.
