Turkey Sausage and Tomato Sauce over Pasta

The pasta

Instructions
- Remove the casings from the turkey sausage and sauté in a deep skillet.
- Once browned and cooked through, add the crushed tomatoes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, then cover and simmer on low for about 10 minutes.
- Add the torn basil and ricotta, then simmer for another 5 minutes.
- Serve ½ cup of sauce over approximately 1 cup of cooked pasta.
