Ingredients

The pretzels

  • 1 bag pretzel rods

The chocolate

  • 16 ounces chocolate (white, milk, or dark)

The toppings

  • to taste candies, sprinkles, Oreos, nuts, etc.

Instructions

  1. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare your toppings by crushing candies or cookies.
  3. In a saucepan, bring 1 to 2 inches of water to a simmer and place a bowl of chocolate on top to melt, stirring for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Dip one end of each pretzel rod into the melted chocolate, coating 2/3 of the way up.
  5. Sprinkle toppings on the coated pretzel while holding it over the chocolate bowl to catch excess.
  6. Transfer the coated pretzel to the second sheet pan to set.
  7. If desired, drizzle melted chocolate over the dipped pretzels.
  8. Allow the pretzels to dry completely before storing or packaging.
