Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- Mix brown sugar, cocoa, flour, granulated sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a mixer.
- In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, egg yolk, buttermilk, oil, and vanilla, then combine with dry ingredients.
- Stir in chocolate chunks and pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 1 to 1 hour and 10 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean, then cool for 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
