Ingredients

The asparagus

  • 1 bunch asparagus

The seasoning and oil

  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

The cheese and finishing touch

  • 1 ½ ounces parmesan cheese
  • to taste lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400° F.
  2. Trim the woody ends of the asparagus if needed.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the asparagus in a single layer.
  4. Drizzle with avocado oil and season with salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes.
  5. Cook the asparagus for 8 minutes.
  6. Add the parmesan cheese and roast for another 2 to 4 minutes until the asparagus is tender and the cheese is melted.
  7. Top with freshly squeezed lemon juice and serve immediately.
