Baked Asparagus With Parmesan

Ingredients

The asparagus

  • 1 lb Asparagus (trimmed)

The seasoning

  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ¼ tsp Sea salt
  • ¼ tsp Black pepper

The cheese

  • ½ cup Mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese (shredded)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F and line a baking dish with foil or parchment paper.
  2. Toss the asparagus with olive oil, minced garlic, sea salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning, then arrange in a single layer on the baking dish.
  3. Roast the asparagus in the oven for about 7-9 minutes until bright green and just starting to soften.
  4. Mix the mozzarella and parmesan cheese together, then sprinkle over the asparagus.
  5. Return the asparagus to the oven for another 6-8 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden.
