The Sauce and Pasta

marinara sauce

crème fraîche

orecchiette pasta, cooked to al dente
The Cheese

shredded mozzarella
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a large bowl, soak the bread crumbs in milk for 5 minutes.
- Add the ground beef, Parmesan, onion, garlic, oregano, salt, crushed red pepper, and egg to the bowl and mix until combined.
- Scoop out the mixture to form meatballs using a tablespoon or small cookie scoop.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and brown the meatballs for about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the meatballs and set aside, then add marinara and crème fraîche to the skillet and heat until warm.
- Combine the cooked pasta with the marinara sauce in a large baking dish.
- Place the meatballs on top of the pasta and sprinkle with mozzarella.
- Bake for 8-12 minutes until the cheese is melted.
