Ingredients

The squash

  • 1 large spaghetti squash

The seasoning

  • 2–3 teaspoons olive oil
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Cut the spaghetti squash into 1-inch widthwise slices.
  3. Scoop out the seeds and inner strands.
  4. Brush both sides of the squash rings with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  5. Lay the squash rings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes, then flip the rings and bake for another 15 minutes.
  7. Use a fork to separate the strands from the peel.
