Ingredients

The squash

  • 1 whole spaghetti squash

The seasoning

  • 2 teaspoons flavored olive oil
  • to taste kosher salt
  • to taste black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with foil.
  2. Cut the spaghetti squash in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds.
  3. Drizzle the cut sides with flavored olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  4. Place the squash halves cut-side down on the baking sheet.
  5. Roast in the oven for 35-40 minutes until the skin is soft to the touch.
  6. Let cool slightly, then use a fork to scrape out the squash into noodle-like strands.
