Instructions
- Press the tofu for at least 30 minutes to remove excess moisture.
- Preheat the oven to 425°F and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pour almond milk into a shallow dish.
- In another shallow dish, combine almond meal, breadcrumbs, cornmeal, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, chili powder, smoked paprika, and salt.
- Cut the tofu into 10-12 slices, dip each slice in almond milk, then dredge in the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring they are well coated.
- Arrange the coated tofu slices in a single layer on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 20 minutes, flip the nuggets, and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
- Serve with your choice of dipping sauce.
