Parmesan Crusted Three Cheese and Garlic Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 8 slices sourdough bread
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 large cloves garlic
  • cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 8 ounces baby swiss cheese
  • 8 ounces gruyere cheese
  • 4 teaspoons pepper jelly

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan with sliced garlic until fragrant and slightly browned, then discard the garlic.
  2. Brush garlic butter on one side of each slice of bread, then sprinkle parmesan on the buttered sides.
  3. Layer baby swiss cheese, pepper jelly, and gruyere cheese on half of the bread slices.
  4. Top with the other slices of bread, buttered side down, and cook in a non-stick pan over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes until golden.
  5. Flip the sandwich and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the other side is golden and the cheese melts.
  6. Repeat the process for the remaining sandwiches and serve hot.
