Instructions
- Peel, core, and slice the apples.
- Place the apples in the slow cooker.
- Add the cinnamon stick, lemon peel, lemon juice, and brown sugar.
- Set the crock pot to low and cook for 6 hours.
- Stir the apples occasionally as they cook.
- Remove the cinnamon stick and blend the mixture until smooth or leave it chunky as desired.
