Crockpot Applesauce

Ingredients

  • 10 medium-size organic sweet red apples (Fuji, Honeycrisp, or Pink Lady)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup raisins

Instructions

  1. Wash the apples and pat them dry.
  2. Chop the apples into large chunks, removing the core, and place them in a large crockpot.
  3. Sprinkle cinnamon on top, add the water and raisins.
  4. Cook on high for 5 hours.
  5. Once done, stir the applesauce to break up the apples and distribute the raisins and cinnamon.
  6. Serve warm or cool and store in the refrigerator.
