Instructions
- Core and dice the apples into 1 ½-inch chunks, leaving the peels on.
- Place the apples in a slow cooker.
- Add honey, cinnamon stick, pumpkin pie spice, and a strip of lemon peel to the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6 hours or HIGH for 2 ½ to 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Remove the cinnamon stick and lemon peel after cooking.
- Blend the applesauce to your desired texture using an immersion blender or other blending method.
- Taste and adjust sweetness with additional honey if needed, then let cool and enjoy.
