Spiced Cider Crock Pot Applesauce

Instructions
- Place peeled and sliced apples in a large crockpot.
- Add lemon juice, water, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, and nutmeg.
- Cover and cook on high for 4-5 hours until the apples are soft.
- Add butter, vanilla, and salt, then blend until desired consistency is reached.
- Sweeten with brown sugar or maple syrup to taste.
- Serve warm or refrigerate until ready to use.
