Ingredients

The dough

  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 ¼ teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 cup vegan milk
  • ¼ cup melted vegan butter

For topping

  • 3 tablespoons melted vegan butter

Instructions

  1. Mix the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a stand mixer bowl.
  2. Create a well in the center and add warm vegan milk and melted butter, mixing until just combined.
  3. Knead the dough with a dough hook for about 5-6 minutes, adding flour if necessary.
  4. Grease the bowl and let the dough rise covered for at least 2 hours in a warm area until doubled in size.
  5. Punch down the dough, divide it into 15 equal balls, and shape them round.
  6. Grease a 9x13 container and arrange the dough balls in it.
  7. Cover and let them rise for another hour while preheating the oven to 400°F.
  8. Brush melted vegan butter over the rolls before baking.
  9. Bake for 15 minutes, then cool slightly before serving.
