Easy Dinner Rolls

Instructions
- Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown, then let cool.
- Grease a large bowl with vegetable oil.
- Mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a large bowl or stand mixer.
- Heat milk to 120°F - 125°F, then add to dry ingredients and mix.
- Add the egg and knead until a smooth dough forms.
- Gradually mix in ½ cup of the cooled browned butter and knead until combined.
- Transfer dough to the greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled in volume, about 1 hour.
- Butter a 9x13-inch baking pan.
- Press the dough into an 8x10-inch rectangle and cut into 12 equal pieces.
- Shape each piece into a ball and place in the baking dish.
- Cover rolls and let rise until doubled in size, 40 minutes to 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Prepare the egg wash by whisking the egg and milk together, then brush over the rolls.
- Bake until golden brown, about 18 minutes.
- Brush with remaining browned butter and sprinkle with flaky salt.
- Let cool in the pan for 30 minutes before serving.
