Warm Cuban Sandwich Dip

Ingredients

The dip

  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 8 ounces swiss cheese, shredded
  • 10 pieces cornichons or pickles, diced
  • ½ pound ham, cubed
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon whole grain mustard
  • ¼ cup crème fraîche
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

For serving

  • as needed pieces Cuban bread or soft roll bread, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare an oven-proof baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together cream cheese, swiss cheese, cornichons or pickles, diced ham, Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, crème fraîche, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture to the baking dish and bake for 15 to 17 minutes until bubbly and browned on top.
  4. Serve hot with slices of Cuban bread or soft rolls.
