Instructions
- Prepare the marinade by heating mirin and sake, then whisk in miso and sugar until smooth.
- Cool the marinade, reserving some for the aioli, and coat the fish in it. Refrigerate for 1-3 days.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Sear the fish in a skillet until golden, then bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes until flaky.
- Serve with rice and a vegetable side, optionally adding miso aioli and pickled daikon.
