Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Cream together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla, mixing until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until combined.
- Fold in the white chocolate chips and caramel bits.
- Form the dough into rounded tablespoon-sized balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Chill the cookie sheet in the freezer for 10 minutes.
- Bake the cookies for 8-10 minutes until the tops are slightly browned.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Once cooled, drizzle with caramel sauce if desired.
