Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- 2. In a large bowl, beat together the butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until light and fluffy.
- 3. Combine the flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt, then stir into the butter mixture until well blended.
- 4. Mix in the caramel bits and chocolate chips.
- 5. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets and flatten slightly.
- 6. Sprinkle each cookie with a pinch of sea salt.
- 7. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until set, then cool slightly on the sheets before transferring to wire racks.
