Homemade Apple Cider

Instructions
- Prepare the apples by slicing them in half or quarters and placing them in the slow cooker.
- Cut the orange in half and add it to the slow cooker along with the other ingredients.
- Cook on high for 3-4 hours until the apples are easily mashable.
- Mash the apples and orange to release their juices.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more brown sugar if desired and cook for an additional 1-2 hours on low.
- Strain the solids from the liquid using a fine sieve or cheesecloth.
- Discard the solids and store the liquid in an airtight container.
