Homemade Apple Cider

Instructions
- Peel the orange and place the segments in a slow cooker.
- Rinse the apples, cut into quarters, and add to the slow cooker.
- Add cinnamon sticks, ground cloves, and sugar to the slow cooker.
- Add enough water to cover the fruit.
- Cook on low heat for 6-7 hours or high heat for 3 hours.
- Mash the fruit with a large spoon to release its liquids.
- Allow the mixture to cook for an additional hour.
- Strain the cider through a fine mesh sieve into a large pot or pitcher.
- Serve the cider warm.
