Ingredients

The main ingredients

  • 12 ounces baby tomatoes
  • 6-8 cloves whole garlic
  • 3-4 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • to taste flaky salt
  • to taste freshly ground pepper

Optional ingredients

  • to taste fresh Italian herbs (parsley, basil, oregano, etc.)
  • as needed crusty bread for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  2. Place the burrata in an 8x8 inch baking dish and surround it with the baby tomatoes and whole garlic cloves.
  3. Drizzle the mixture with olive oil and sprinkle with flaky salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  4. Roast in the oven for 25 minutes or until the cheese is golden brown and the tomatoes are bursting.
  5. Remove from the oven and let it stand for 3-5 minutes.
  6. Garnish with fresh minced Italian herbs if desired.
  7. Serve with slices of toasted bread.
