Philly Cheesesteak Sandwiches

thinly sliced rare roast beef deli style or shaved ribeye

deli sub rolls or pretzel rolls

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat and sauté the diced veggies for 8-10 minutes until soft.
- Add salt and pepper to the veggies and stir to coat them.
- Push the veggies to the side and add the meat, one slice at a time, to the empty side of the pan.
- Sprinkle garlic powder and remaining salt and pepper on the meat, cooking until browned (about 5 minutes).
- Mix the meat and veggies together in the pan.
- Separate the mixture into two halves and push them to opposite sides of the pan.
- Cover each half with two slices of provolone cheese and cook until melted (about 4 minutes).
- Slice the deli rolls almost in half and stuff one half with the meat, veggies, and cheese mixture.
- Seal the rolls and wrap each tightly in foil.
- Bake the foil-wrapped sandwiches for 10 minutes.
- Serve immediately while hot.
