Philly Cheesesteak Sloppy Joes

The sandwich

light wheat sandwich rolls

Instructions
- 1. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it up as it cooks.
- 2. Add the diced peppers and onions to the skillet and cook until softened.
- 3. Mix in the steak sauce, beef broth, salt, and pepper, then bring to a bubble and let simmer for about 5 minutes.
- 4. Preheat the oven to broil and prepare a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- 5. Open the sandwich rolls and press the insides of the bottom halves to create more space for the filling.
- 6. Scoop about ¾ cup of the meat mixture onto each bottom half and top with a slice of cheese.
- 7. Broil the assembled sandwiches for about 1 minute, watching closely to prevent burning.
- 8. Cover each bottom half with its toasted top half and serve.
