Instructions
- 1. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat and add the meat, onions, bell pepper, mushrooms, salt, and pepper.
- 2. Cook while stirring until the meat is cooked and the vegetables are tender, about 5-10 minutes, then drain excess grease.
- 3. Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir to combine, cooking for 1-2 minutes.
- 4. In a bowl, whisk together the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and BBQ sauce.
- 5. Gradually add the sauce mixture to the skillet, stirring, and bring to a simmer for 4-5 minutes until thickened.
- 6. Serve the mixture on buns topped with provolone cheese.
