Instructions
- Heat a large skillet and add the ground beef, cooking for a few minutes without draining.
- Add the diced onion, green pepper, and chopped mushrooms, cooking until the meat is almost brown.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, garlic powder, steak seasoning, salt, and pepper, cooking until the meat is done.
- Whisk the cornstarch with the beef broth and pour into the meat mixture, stirring until thickened.
- Taste and adjust the salt if needed.
- Add the cubed provolone cheese and stir, then remove from heat and cover for a couple of minutes until the cheese melts.
- Serve the mixture on hamburger buns, optionally toasting them for better flavor.
