Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 175 g leftover steak
  • 4 pieces mushrooms, sliced and cooked
  • 20 g goat cheese, crumbled
  • 20 g blue cheese, crumbled
  • 1 tbsp whole grain mustard
  • 1 loaf whole grain sandwich loaf

Instructions

  1. 1. Coat a skillet with cooking spray and heat it over medium-high heat. Cook the mushrooms until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
  2. 2. Cut the sandwich loaf in half lengthwise and toast it lightly.
  3. 3. Slice the leftover steak very thinly.
  4. 4. Spread mustard on the bottom half of the toasted bread.
  5. 5. Layer the steak on the bread, then top with mushrooms, goat cheese, and blue cheese.
  6. 6. Place the sandwich in the oven on broil for about 5 minutes to soften the cheese and heat the meat.
  7. 7. Remove from the oven and place the top slice of bread on the sandwich.
