Philly Cheesesteak Dip

Ingredients

The dip

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 large yellow onion, diced
  • 1 lb shaved ribeye
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • ½ lb Cooper sharp white American cheese, diced small

For serving

  • to taste crostini, bread, chips, or veggies to dip

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large sauté pan, melt butter over medium-high heat.
  3. Add diced onions and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add shaved ribeye and minced garlic, cooking for another 4-5 minutes until the ribeye is cooked.
  5. Season with salt and pepper, then turn off the heat.
  6. In a large bowl, mix together cream cheese and yogurt.
  7. Add the steak mixture to the bowl and combine well.
  8. Stir in half of the cheese until combined.
  9. Pour the mixture into an 8x8 baking dish and sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until bubbling.
  11. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
