Ingredients

The wraps

  • 4 pieces Almost Zero Carb Wraps

The filling

  • 8 oz thinly sliced leftover steak or deli roast beef
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 4 oz sliced button mushrooms
  • ½ small onion, sliced into ¼-inch rounds
  • 2 tablespoons butter or olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 slices Provolone cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Slice the bell pepper and onion, then set aside.
  3. Sauté the onions for 1-2 minutes until they begin to soften.
  4. Add the mushrooms and stir to coat with the butter, cooking for 2 minutes on one side before stirring.
  5. Add the bell peppers and mix thoroughly, cooking for another 1-2 minutes.
  6. Turn off the heat and add the steak and Worcestershire sauce, stirring to heat through.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then remove the mixture from the pan.
  8. Heat 2 wraps in the pan, adding ¼ of the cheese steak mixture to each wrap and topping with a slice of cheese.
  9. Cover with a lid or foil for 1 minute to melt the cheese, adding water to steam if necessary.
  10. Fold the wraps and serve, then repeat with the remaining ingredients.
