Ingredients

The dough and flour

  • 1 lb fresh pizza dough
  • pastry flour

The sauce

  • 15 oz MUIR GLEN Organic Tomato Sauce
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • ½ tbsp basil flakes
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic

The toppings

  • ½ cup white mushrooms, chopped
  • ¼ cup fresh baby spinach
  • ½ cup red pepper, chopped
  • ½ cup green pepper, chopped
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Spread pastry flour on the countertop and shape the fresh dough into a circle, then place it on a pizza pan.
  3. In a bowl, combine tomato sauce, parmesan cheese, minced garlic, basil flakes, sugar, and sea salt, then stir until mixed.
  4. Spread the sauce evenly over the pizza dough, leaving an inch along the edge without sauce.
  5. Layer with mushrooms, spinach, red and green bell peppers, and mozzarella cheese, then repeat the layers.
  6. Bake the pizza for 18 to 20 minutes until the crust is golden.
