Vegan Pizza

Ingredients

  • 1 recipe pizza dough
  • ½ to ¾ cup pizza sauce
  • 1½ to 2 cups vegan mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • as needed none cornmeal

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 500°F (260°C) for at least 20 minutes.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to about 10 inches in diameter.
  3. Dust a pizza stone or baking sheet with cornmeal and place the rolled dough on it.
  4. Spread the pizza sauce over the dough, leaving some space at the edges.
  5. Add the vegan cheese and any additional toppings.
  6. Drizzle olive oil over the top and brush it on the edges of the crust.
  7. Bake the pizza for 12 to 17 minutes until the cheese is bubbling and the crust is golden brown.
  8. Let it cool slightly, then slice and serve.
