Easy Dirty Rice

The rice and stock

beef stock

The seasonings

Creole seasoning (or more to taste)

Instructions
- Cook the bacon in a large sauté pan until crispy, then set aside.
- In the same pan, add oil if needed and sauté onions, thyme, bay leaf, and garlic for a few minutes.
- Add chicken livers, ground beef, and Creole seasoning, cooking for about 2 minutes.
- Stir in bell peppers, celery, salt, and pepper, cooking for another 5 minutes.
- Pour in beef stock and bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Mix in the cooked rice and cook until heated through, adding more stock if necessary.
- Remove from heat, take out the bay leaves, and stir in parsley before serving.
