Teriyaki Pork Stir Fry

pork tenderloin, cut into 1 inch pieces or thinly sliced

The sauce

cup
soy sauce

cup
water

brown sugar

tablespoon
honey

teaspoon
toasted sesame oil

cornstarch
Instructions
- Heat 1 teaspoon of oil in a large pan over medium-high heat and cook the broccoli, peppers, and carrots for 4-6 minutes until softened.
- Remove the vegetables from the pan and keep warm.
- Add the remaining oil to the pan, then add the pork and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned, about 4-6 minutes.
- Add garlic and ginger to the pan and cook for 30 seconds.
- In a small pot, combine soy sauce, water, brown sugar, honey, and sesame oil over medium-high heat and stir until sugar dissolves.
- Increase heat to high and bring the sauce to a boil.
- Mix cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of cold water until dissolved, then add to the sauce and boil until thickened.
- Return the vegetables to the pan with the pork, pour in the sauce, and toss to coat. Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
