Ingredients

The avocado mixture

  • 4 pieces avocados, diced
  • 2 pieces tomatoes, diced
  • ¼ cup fresh basil, roughly chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 oz fresh mozzarella, small dices
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

The bread

  • 1 loaf crunchy bread (Italian or Ciabatta)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the diced tomatoes, avocados, chopped basil, diced mozzarella, garlic powder, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  2. Slice the loaf of crunchy bread into ½ inch slices and toast under the broiler for 3-4 minutes.
  3. Top each toasted bread slice with the desired amount of the avocado mixture and enjoy.
