Ingredients

The crostini

  • 12 slices Sourdough Baguette
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 5 cloves Garlic

The topping

  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes
  • 2 medium Avocados
  • 12 large Shrimp
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Chili Powder
  • ¼ cup Fresh Parsley
  • 1 medium Lemon
  • 1 teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
  • to taste Salt & Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with tinfoil.
  2. Brush both sides of the baguette slices with a mixture of olive oil and minced garlic.
  3. Bake the baguette slices for 10-15 minutes until crispy.
  4. Prepare the shrimp by mixing it with garlic, paprika, lemon juice, chili powder, and salt.
  5. Cook the shrimp in a skillet over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes.
  6. In a bowl, mix mashed avocado with halved cherry tomatoes, lemon juice, and salt.
  7. Top each baguette slice with avocado, a piece of shrimp, and a sprinkle of parsley.
  8. Serve immediately.
