Ingredients

The base ingredients

  • 1 cup walnuts
  • ½ cup date paste
  • cup almond flour
  • cup cacao powder
  • ¼ cup hemp seeds
  • 3 tbsp creamy cashew butter
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp pure almond extract
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp salt

Optional coatings

  • as needed almond flour
  • as needed cacao powder
  • as needed hemp seeds

Instructions

  1. Process walnuts in a food processor until they form a coarse meal.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and pulse until a moist, dough-like mixture forms.
  3. Use a small ice cream scoop to form balls about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Roll the balls between your palms to shape them into spheres.
  5. Optionally, roll the balls in cacao powder, hemp seeds, or almond flour for coating.
  6. Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to a month or freeze for up to 4 months.
