Winter Bliss Balls

Ingredients

The base

  • 25-30 pieces medjool dates, pitted
  • cups roasted cashews
  • ½ cup unsweetened coconut flakes
  • ¼ cup cacao powder
  • ¼ cup hemp seeds
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 2 teaspoons maca powder
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • a pinch flaky sea salt

The toppings

  • as needed melted chocolate, nuts, seeds, dried roses, cocoa or cacao powder

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine all base ingredients in a food processor and pulse until the mixture holds together.
  3. Roll the mixture into tablespoon-sized balls.
  4. Optionally, roll the balls in desired toppings or dip in melted chocolate before adding toppings.
  5. Allow the chocolate to set in the fridge.
  6. Store the bliss balls in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.
