Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and grease an 8x8-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine the cherries, honey, lemon juice, and vanilla. Sprinkle with arrowroot powder or cornstarch and mix again.
- Transfer the cherry filling to the greased baking dish in an even layer.
- Chop the pecans into two groups: half into small pieces and the other half into a coarse powder.
- In a second bowl, mix the rolled oats, both types of pecans, Besti Brown, and salt. Add the butter or coconut oil and combine.
- Crumble the topping over the cherry filling.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
- Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
