Instructions
- 1. Whisk together the flour and salt in a medium bowl.
- 2. Shred the butter on top of the flour mixture using a cheese box grater.
- 3. Coat the butter with the flour and mix until combined.
- 4. Create a well in the center and pour in about 4 ounces of water, then mix until combined.
- 5. Turn the mixture out onto a lightly floured surface and knead a few times to form a rectangle about 1-inch thick.
- 6. Fold over the right side, then the left, and turn the dough a quarter turn. Repeat for two more turns.
- 7. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and rest in the fridge for one hour.
- 8. Unwrap the dough and give it two more turns. The dough is now ready to use.
