Paleo Apple Crisp

nuts (try pecans or walnuts and almonds)

coconut butter (softened)

Instructions
- Soften the coconut butter by placing the jar in a bowl of hot water.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Peel, core, and slice the apples, then mix them with maple syrup and cinnamon in a large bowl.
- Pour the apple mixture into a cast iron skillet or a 9x9 inch baking dish.
- In a food processor, pulse the nuts until mostly fine, then combine them with the coconut butter, coconut sugar, and salt in the bowl used for the apples.
- Mix the topping until crumbly, then sprinkle it over the apples.
- Add the blueberries on top of the mixture.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the topping is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and serve, optionally with vanilla ice cream.
