Keto Italian Meatballs

Ingredients

The meatballs

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground pork sausage
  • ¼ cup almond flour
  • 3 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp ground pepper

The sauce

  • 1 jar sugar-free marinara sauce (25 oz jar)

Garnish and serving suggestions

  • to taste fresh parsley, chopped (or basil)
  • to serve zucchini noodles or other veggie noodles

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine all meatball ingredients and mix with your hands.
  3. Form the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place them on the lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until fully cooked.
  5. During the last 5 minutes of baking, heat the marinara sauce in a skillet.
  6. Once the meatballs are done, transfer them to the skillet with marinara and toss to coat.
  7. Serve the meatballs over zoodles or other veggie noodles, garnished with parsley.
