Ingredients

The salmon

  • 4 fillets skin-on salmon fillets (7 oz each)
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Freshly ground black pepper

The glaze

  • 2 Tbsp light brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • tsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil, spraying it with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Arrange the salmon fillets on the baking sheet, leaving space between them, and season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, dijon mustard, lemon zest, and minced garlic.
  4. Spread the glaze evenly over the salmon fillets.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 11 to 14 minutes, depending on the thickness of the salmon, until cooked through.
  6. If desired, garnish with parsley before serving.
