6-Minute Red Snapper

Ingredients

The fish

  • 1 pound red snapper fillets

The seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper

For serving

  • to taste lemon wedges
  • to taste parsley

Optional spices

  • to taste paprika
  • to taste thyme
  • to taste garlic powder
  • to taste onion powder
  • to taste oregano
  • to taste cayenne pepper
  • to taste Cajun seasoning

Instructions

  1. Pat dry the red snapper with a paper towel to remove excess liquid.
  2. Rub both sides of the fish with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat the grill to medium/high and brush with oil or grease a non-stick pan.
  4. Add the snapper and cook for 2-3 minutes until the sides become slightly opaque.
  5. Flip the fish and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  6. Remove the fish from heat and serve immediately with lemon juice and parsley.
