Ingredients

The chicken

  • 1 lb thin uncooked boneless skinless chicken breast cutlets
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 2 egg whites beaten
  • 2 tablespoons Buffalo wing sauce
  • ½ cup corn flake crumbs
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley flakes
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder

The sauce and toppings

  • 4 tablespoons French onion dip
  • 4 sandwich rolls or hamburger buns
  • 4 leaves green leaf lettuce
  • 4-8 slices tomato

Instructions

  1. Mix flour and paprika in a small dish.
  2. Coat chicken cutlets in the flour mixture in a Ziploc bag.
  3. Beat egg whites and mix in ½ teaspoon of Buffalo wing sauce.
  4. Combine cornflake crumbs, parsley, salt, pepper, cayenne, onion powder, and garlic powder in a separate dish.
  5. Coat the chicken cutlets in the egg mixture and then in the cornflake crumb mixture.
  6. For air fryer: Cook at 400°F for 6 minutes, flip, and cook for another 6 minutes.
  7. For oven: Preheat to 425°F, cook for 8 minutes, flip, and cook for another 8 minutes.
  8. Mix remaining Buffalo wing sauce and French onion dip.
  9. Assemble sandwiches with lettuce, tomato, chicken, and sauce on the rolls.
