Ingredients

The Chicken

  • 2 lb Bone-in chicken thighs

The Seasoning

  • ½ tbsp Paprika
  • ½ tbsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Dried thyme
  • 1 tsp Sea salt
  • ½ tsp Black pepper

The Cooking Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • ½ cup Coconut aminos
  • cup Honey

Instructions

  1. Mix the spices together in a small bowl.
  2. Pat the chicken dry and rub both sides with the spice mixture.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear the chicken skin-side down until crispy.
  4. Transfer the chicken to a slow cooker, skin-side up.
  5. Whisk together honey and coconut aminos, then pour over the chicken.
  6. Cover and cook on Low for 4 to 5 hours or on High for 2 to 2.5 hours until tender.
