Honey Garlic Slow Cooker Chicken Thighs

Instructions
- Pat the chicken thighs dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of butter and the avocado oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken thighs, skin side down, and cook for 5 minutes until golden brown.
- Transfer the chicken to the slow cooker, skin side up.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, broth, mustard, and garlic.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken and dice the remaining butter to sprinkle on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours or high for 3 hours until the chicken reaches 165°F.
